Frequently Asked Questions

Are your services covered OHIP or by most insurance policies and/or tax deductible?

Psychological services received in private practice are not covered by OHIP.
Most health insurance policies will cover the services you will receive at Uprise Psychology and Wellness. A receipt will be emailed to you following the appointment, which you may submit to your health insurance company if applicable. Some coverage plans require a doctor’s referral prior to receiving services in order to receive reimbursement. Please contact your benefits provider directly to verify your coverage and inquire about conditions.
Fees for psychological services are income tax deductible as medical expenses.
